This Raw Walnut Taco recipe is a marvel of healthy, delicious superfoods! It is full of healthy fats, fiber, manganese and so much more.
You might be pretty skeptical to try this recipe but raw walnut tacos are taking it to another level. They're very easy to make and all you need to do is prepare very simple ingredients: walnuts, cumin, balsamic vinegar, chili powder, tamari, garlic powder, romaine hearts, cherry tomatoes, jalapeno pepper, red onion, avocado, and top it with cacao nibs. Finally, serve and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 180 grams Walnuts (raw)
- 4 grams Cumin
- 15 milliliters Balsamic Vinegar
- 667 milligrams Chili Powder
- 9 grams Tamari
- 388 milligrams Garlic Powder
- 1 head Romaine Hearts (leaves separated, washed and dried)
- 112 grams Cherry Tomatoes (halved)
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper (thinly sliced)
- 40 grams Red Onion
- 1 Avocado (cubed)
- Sprinkle of Cacao Nibs
Directions:
- In a food processor, add the walnuts, cumin, balsamic vinegar, chili powder, tamari and garlic. Pulse to combine until the walnuts are crumbly like ground meat.
- Add the ground mixture to romaine leaves and top with tomatoes, jalapeno, red onion, avocado and cacao nibs. Serve and enjoy!
